Once upon a time, I wanted to be an international spy, but I dropped out of French, hate jumping out of planes, and can’t stand political violence.

On the other hand, I do love ruthless strategy games, the perfect black dress, and cold revenge.

So you can see how ruining fictional men for a living was the only logical choice.

These days I write messy, emotionally driven contempoary romance, where the women are complicated, the language is filthy, and the men make terrible decisions for all the right reasons.

In real life, I live outside Chicago with my husband, and two grown kids who want nothing to do with my books.
